Adult Education: Adult education classes are held several times each year. Examples of past classes include: How to Act Like a Christian, based on the book by Leigh Anderson, What is Love, Anyway?, an ecumenical series with Church of Christ the King and based on Deus Caritas Est-the first encyclical of Pope Benedict XVI, and What Paul Meant, based on the new book by Gary Wills.
Weekday Bible Studies are held at 9:30 A.M. on Mondays and 8:45 A.M. on Thursdays. The Monday class, led by Helen Parr, is studying Mary, the Feminine Face of the Church by Rosemary Radford Ruether. The Thursday class, led by Kevin Newburg, is studying the book of Ephesians.
Special Lectures are also held during the year. Past examples include: Celtic All Hallows Eve Celebration, God and Angels on the Lewis and Clark Trail, 10 Moral Moments in the Life of Abraham Lincoln, and Life Every Voice and Sing: A Sing-Along Festival of Early American Sacred Music.
